Modular product system for household appliances

OneHold is a compact product system that performs basic household tasks with fewer components, saving parts, space, costs and resources. OneHold can be bought or rented flexibly in the form of several modules to meet the needs of people living in tiny households or temporary accommodation.

To perform their main task, each of these household appliances has the same technical components: An electric motor and a rotating function. Owning and storing them all takes up space and costs ressources, causing a problem in a room- and cost-efficient approach of living.

Value through modularity

OneHold combines the multiple electric motors and power supplies of essential household appliances into one single modular power unit

Variable yet uniform

The OneHold modules are united by their honest design, which translates the functional axis of the product system into its external form. The cylindrical form with dynamic chamfers stretched along the axis and the oblong hole as a projection shape for all user touchpoints form a design language that gives OneHold a uniform appearance in all configurations.

Intelligent motor RPM via NFC

The power unit recognises each module based on its installed nfc-tag and sets the correct motor rpm and advantageous behaviour of the power button.
