Design Language

Product System

Currently, Zomatos design presence is limited to digital products such as the website and app.

For this project, a design language for physical products was developed that communicates the values of the Zomato brand and its services to users and viewers.

Drone Station

Product System

Zomato Hperpure Instant Delivery is a slim product system for drone deliveries that consists of just one station model, a drone and a simple cooled box.

The station acts as the start and end point of the drone delivery and serves as a protective charging hub for the drone.
‍
‍

The roof of the station consists of two glass solar modules, which the station uses to recover some of the energy used to charge the drone.
‍

The station‘s solar sliding roof opens when the drone takes off or lands, protecting the landed drone and the station´s interior from the weather.
‍
‍

The landing pad has four mounts that catch the rotor arms of the landing drone to position it precisely so that it can set down the box accurately.
‍

When on the landing pad, the charging contacts of the drone and station meet for inductive charging of the drone‘s battery.
‍

The platform of the box lift has a moulding that only picks up the box in the correct position so that it can be returned to the drone with the needed precise fit.
